In developing security exchange markets in 20th century, many disputes have risen between parties involved in such markets, especially among investment brokers. As a result, the huge number of transactions in the security exchange has led to significant investment disputes before national courts. On the other hand, the use of alternative methods of dispute resolution methods was restricted historically and one of these restrictions was in the security exchange. However, step by step arbitration has been adopted as a proper method in many important security exchanges such as Australia, United States, and England. At the same time, arbitration in the security exchange is distinctive from other forms of commercial arbitration. These distinctive aspects of arbitration in security exchange markets are an important focus of this book.
