The document of mutual assistance and cooperation in customs affairs was signed by Mehdi Mirasharfi, Director General of Customs of Iran, and Ikawa Kazutoshi, Ambassador of Japan to Tehran.
Hossein Kakhki, Director General of the Office of International Cooperation, said: “According to this document, the customs of the two countries will cooperate in the fields of research, development and coordination of new customs procedures and assistance and implementation of training activities of customs officers and exchange of customs staff.”
It is worth mentioning that after the signing of a document with the Chinese customs, the signing of this agreement is the second customs document signed by the officials of the two countries from the beginning of this year.
