The manufacture line of the first electric bus, which uses 70% of domestic components and is totally designed and produced by Iranian experts, has come on stream.

This bus has the ability to travel 250 km with each charge, and if it is connected to a fast pantograph charger or even a normal 600 kW, it will be fully charged in half an hour. Usually 300 kW chargers are used for these cars, which take a full charge in one hour. Of course, there are other mechanisms for charging these buses.

“To date, four units of this bus have been produced. At present, the commercialization process has been completed and we have entered the mass production phase”.

Kambiz Moradi, the CEO of Parsan Electric Bus Manufacturing Company (Shetab), said. He added:

“Our production capacity for next year is 250 units, but it can be increased to 500 units. This number will reach one thousand for the year 2023”.
