Eurasian Customs Duties on Iranian Goods will be Removed

_

Iranian exports to the Eurasian Economic Union member states will be exempt from customs tariffs as of September 2022, says the managing director of Iran-EEU Export Consortium Center.

“Export goods, of course, must meet the standards required by the Union, so even offices have been set up in Moscow and Yerevan to help export Iranian goods”. Amir Abbas Afsharamin was quoted as saying by the Persian daily Ta’adol.

“According to the agreement, even the raw materials needed to produce export goods will be supplied to this region so that competitive goods can be exported to these countries”. He said.

“A lot of our processed foodstuff, including pasta, pastry, chocolates and canned food, already have the required standards to be exported to EEU’s five member countries. We also have great potential in the export of faucet and textile.”
